Heat Pump Installations
Why Have a Heat Pump?

Reduce Energy Bills
SAVE THE PLANET & SAVE MONEY Improved efficiency and reduced reliance on fossil fuels will reduce your energy bills significantly compared to using a traditional boiler for heating.
100% Renewable
REDUCES YOUR CO2 EMISSIONS Heat pumps use renewable energy from the air to heat your home, reducing your carbon footprint and supporting sustainable living.
A Long Lifespan
LOW MAINTENANCE INVESTMENT Designed to last for up to 20 years with proper maintenance, a heat pump is a long term investment that is easy to maintain with regular servicing.
Remote Monitoring
COMPLETE HEAT PUMP CONTROL You can manage and monitor your heat pump from anywhere in the world using your smart device to maximise comfort and efficiency.
How Do Heat Pumps Work?
Air source heat pumps extract heat from the outside air by passing it over a refrigerant liquid, which evaporates into gas. This gas is compressed, allowing it to transfer heat to the heating system. As it cools, it reverts to a liquid state, and the process starts again.
- The outdoor unit absorbs heat from the outside air
- The absorbed heat is transferred to the cylinder unit inside the house through a refrigerant fluid that circulates in a closed loop
- The cylinder unit uses this absorbed heat to warm up water in a tank, increasing its temperature.
- The hot water is then distributed for various purposes, such as radiators, underfloor heating, or domestic hot water.
- The refrigerant fluid then returns to the outdoor unit, where it releases the excess heat and cools down, ready to repeat the cycle.
Get a Grant for Heat Pumps
Why not take advantage of the government grants you could be eligible for? These financial aids can help offset the initial installation costs. The Boiler Upgrade Scheme provides a grant to assist with the expenses of replacing old fossil fuel heating systems with greener options such as heat pumps.
- To own your property. (Homeowner or landlord)
